Fellow Rubies,

Success, in many cases, is a process of iterations.

We are now expanding our Global Protocol Ambassador and ready to bring you the RPA V2.0, in which we are going to bring in more crypto talents that are dedicated to building reciprocal relationships that foster Web3 and data understanding through a variety of efforts.

In the Monthly Review of May 2022, working with Riku (@ItsJustRiku), our Chief Community Ambassador, we had seen great interest from our community and collected 132 applications for Ruby Protocol Ambassadors (RPA’s).

Standing at the middle of July, facing this crypto market, we believe it is essential we continue to spur ourselves to form a larger group of result-driven people to work on our mission of making Web3 privacy accessible to all. After all, this is the best time to plan and build as the current market is driving the uncommitted out.

Connecting Global Leaders

For Ruby Protocol Ambassadors (RPAs) V2.0, we envision:

  1. An additional 15–20 RPA’s to cover different cultures. (specifically in the Spanish, Asian, Arabic, and Indian speaking countries.). Preferably, the candidates should be natives of the culture and language they are responsible for.
  2. In the case of overwhelming interests, there will be an additional list of RPA to replace the inactive members to create healthy competition and stimulus.

Global Ambassador Responsibilities

The Ruby team wants to build a ROWE — Results-Only Work Environment where Ruby Protocol Ambassadors (RPA’s) are passionate, enthusiastic, and proactive members of our young community that are contributive to our brand in their own ways. However, the key actions should revolve around the follows:

  • Education & Moderation: Creating high-quality and engaging content that is not limited to infographics/videos, writing blog posts, translations, and tutorials.
  • Engagement: Assisting with our presence in other Discord/Telegram channels, providing cross-brand exposure via social media, and getting other influencers on board. It also involves some outreach programs to invite the uninitiated to our server/channel/groups.
  • Growth: Interacting with Ruby’s official social channel posts consistently. Liking and sharing all posted Ruby Content via Twitter and other social channels. Actively engaging with comments.
  • Representing & Organizing: Representing your region in the community, Organizing meetups, and AMAs & lead social events on behalf of Ruby Protocol.

Global Ambassador Perks

Those that will be selected to join our Ambassador Program will get the following perks:

  • Each “Active” RPA will be rewarded at IDO with between $200-$400 in Ruby tokens (per month) up until launch. Based on performance and monthly activity grade.
  • We will hire the best of the best after this as an official team member(s). Everyone won’t make it.
  • Exclusive access to the RPA’s Telegram Channel or Slack
  • Exclusive previews and early access to new information & testing opportunities

*Just note that $200 per RPA isn’t guaranteed if you aren’t active and things are low quality.

About Us

Ruby Protocol is a cross-chain, privacy-first infrastructure, powered by Polkadot. Our layer-1 protocol utilizes Functional Encryption (FE) cryptography, which allows users to adopt a modular approach to data privacy and ownership. This novel solution will allow users to encrypt sensitive information on-chain, which can only be decrypted by holders of an approved private key.

Ruby’s FE Substrate-pallet will serve as the building blocks for privacy-first smart contract DApps building on the native Ruby Chain, while also acting as a privacy layer for Parachains and Web3 DApps across the Polkadot ecosystem.
