Ruby Protocol Joins Hands with Prove Anything
Fellow Rubies,
We are happy to announce another partnership. Ruby Protocol now joins hands with Prove Anything to make our contributions to the Web3 world.
Prove Anything is an open protocol for proof and authenticity built on the blockchain that connects people and brands to the Web3 world through the products they own. They have created a toolset that includes dynamic Certificates of Authenticity that act as digital bridges between manufacturer, retailer, and customer. A single connection creating multiple access points to their preferred communication channels for product information, recalls, marketing and research.
The missions of Prove Anything are in line with Ruby’s commitment to bring forward a private data management framework for Web 3.0 because both parties are looking into different ways to protect users and entities in Web3 and try to revolutionize the obsolete incentive system. This partnership will play a key role in supporting both parties to achieve the common goals outlined in the roadmaps.
The term “Web3” was referring to a decentralized online ecosystem based on blockchain, meaning we will need more than blockchain games and NFTs to make it work.
Ruby Protocol and Prove Anything are such projects to lay the groundwork so the entrants of Web3 can explore this space with a good protective layer. This partnership is another chapter in Ruby Protocol’s history as a proponent of data management and privacy guard.
Glenn Shoosmith, CEO of Prove Anything, says:
“The more we dug into Ruby’s technology and approach, the more we realized they were the perfect partner for us. Prove Anything aims to offer consumer and businesses tools that help create proof, certification, provenance and timelines, all matched with security and data ownership at its core. However to do that well, there needs to be deep technology to build on, and Ruby does that. The consumers should never need to understand the technical magic of Ruby’s Functional Encryption, but it will work for them to secure their data and put them in control of how they keep private what they want to, and share what they need to.”
“We are super excited to partner with Prove Anything in order to provide the missing piece with the help of Functional Encryption. The ability to satisfy certain requirements/conditions will strengthen and make Prove Anything solution fully ready for scaling to massive audiences. Prove Anything provides a solid framework for verifiable credentials, on top of which functional encryption can play a central role in access control based on verifiable identity. ”

About Us
Ruby Protocol is a cross-chain, privacy-first infrastructure, powered by Polkadot. Our layer-1 protocol utilizes Functional Encryption (FE) cryptography, which allows users to adopt a modular approach to data privacy and ownership. This novel solution will allow users to encrypt sensitive information on-chain, which can only be decrypted by holders of an approved private key.
Ruby’s FE Substrate-pallet will serve as the building blocks for privacy-first smart contract DApps building on the native Ruby Chain, while also acting as a privacy layer for Parachains and Web3 DApps across the Polkadot ecosystem.
