Welcome back to another Monthly Review.

July was a blessing for us at Ruby Protocol.

Although it may seem the work output isn’t that impressive, the results say otherwise. As a nimble and agile team, our resources and energy are always geared toward the most critical tasks at hand, as they always deliver the 80% exposure and user growth.

In July, as you already saw, we focused more on technical development, product launch, and partnership building and less on awareness building and marketing content release.

Ruby One Wallet Launch

In July, the most predominant release, without any doubt, should go to the Ruby One launch.

At Ruby Protocol, we believe

The only way to protect crypto is to build crypto.

The only way to serve privacy is to build privacy tools.

The only way to move forward is to break the status quo.

To adhere to our core beliefs, we designed Ruby One as the most user-friendly Web3 wallet, to manage your cryptocurrencies, and it is one of our answers to the many challenges ahead in the crypto space.

Now starting with the Ruby One — MPC wallet, crypto is never easier. You can now forget about the seed phase, private keys, and the random string of characters. Ruby One is a better way to crypto. It is a hybrid solution in the form of cryptography called MPC, or multi-party computation, and many web3 and crypto native technologies.

With its launch, we would like to think we successfully attract a good number of crypto users to experiment with Ruby One and follow us for more product updates.

At the time of this writing, Ruby Protocol twitter account has gained more than 38,000 followers since the launch.

Releasing Ruby One Wiki — Your Complete MPC Wallet Guide

We believe Ruby One represents a significant leap toward making the decentralized Web3 world accessible to everyone. We are eliminating the hassles associated with blockchain wallets and providing a familiar and user-friendly interface while ensuring there is no leeway when it comes to security.

We’re opening the doors of Web3 to a broader user base.

In this wiki, we’ve curated a user guide covering A-Z on mastering Ruby One, MPC technology, Social Recovery techniques, and the concept of Account Abstraction.

Partnerships Building

If we want to reach the next millions of users, partnerships and networking are essential. The strategic partnerships we have been presenting are all official agreements between other parties and us to work together to provide the best-in-class services for crypto users and the entrants from the old web2 world.

In July, we partnered with Arc Finance, a DeFi derivatives platform that provides liquid derivatives transactions for individuals and institutions. With this partnership, we are thrilled to offer our MPC wallet, Access Control, and privacy solutions to more.

Pip is another example of our commitment to actively reaching out to new ecosystems and new users and offering them a unique platform where exciting new features can be accessed. Pip is probably the easiest way to build your bio link, designed for crypto payments.

The strategic partnership with Nautilus Chain, which is building the future of blockchain-based payments, and bringing Web3 technology to the real world, showcased our will to be integrated into more technical landscapes. In the coming days, you will see us connected to their ecosystem and offer their unique Ruby One services. Together, we’ll pave the way for innovative solutions and revolutionize the future of decentralized finance.

Ruby Protocol Community Proof on Galxe

Our Community Proof OAT is given out as a token of your support for us to build an accessible Web3 gateway. With it, the holders will enjoy potential airdrops in the future and early access to Ruby’s cutting-edge products.

This Galxe campaign was a hit. It, along with the Ruby One launch, has generated enough interest in Ruby Protocol and our solutions that almost 40,000 crypto users follow us.

Although it is impossible to confirm the exact timeline of our campaign, we estimate the 10,000 Community Proof OATs were claimed in only three or four hours.

ERC4337 Standard & #AccountAbstraction

In the coming months, we will initiate a number of technical developments based on Ethereum’s ERC-4337 standard, which includes but not limited to the followings:

  • Build a “smart contract account system and gradually move toward Account Abstraction
  • Refine the existing social recovery methods and eradicate the risk of losing private keys
  • Improve user experience by enabling seedless wallet creation
  • Start connecting DeFi, Games, and DAO to sponsor users and achieve Gasless transactions

We believe our commitment to this direction will enable us to create smart accounts to provide improved functionality, a streamlined user experience, enhanced security, and censorship-resistant cryptography.
