Fellow Rubies,

We are thrilled to share with you some exciting news. Ruby Protocol partnered with Arcana Network, a web3 infrastructure built for Ethereum and EVM-based chains, to quickly onboard dApp users and enable user data privacy and ownership. Using the services developed by Arcana Network, Web3 developers can use their SDKs for a seamless, familiar user onboarding experience via social authentication and passwordless login.

Arcana Network promises all user data is encrypted, secured with data access fully controlled by the users, and powered by blockchain.

“From the start, our goal has been to work hand-in-hand with web3 projects that are enabling top-tier data privacy for users at scale. Ruby Protocol’s emphasis on building multi-chain, privacy-centric framework perfectly aligns with our mission of enabling building privacy-preserving apps at scale. We’re excited for what’s in the store.”

– Aravindh Kumar, Co-Founder, Arcana Network

Ruby Protocol met Arcana Network at TOKEN2049 Singapore, which offered a wide range of meetups and workshops. We were naturally hooked by their mission statement of enabling user data privacy and ownership.

This partnership is a natural result of our similar vision toward the future digital world, in which users and developers interact with software in a private and sovereign way. We also consider this partnership a joint effort to counter the pressing issues of the crypto space. Ruby Protocol focuses more on building a private data management framework for Web 3.0 that proposes and implements a privacy layer interacting with the multi-chain ecosystem.

Arcana Auth and Storage will be excellent options for Ruby users. As our access control mechanism can be built on DID, we believe the Arcana DID layer could serve as a vital underlying identity layer for our protocol. Furthermore, Ruby protocol is based on functional encryption, which needs to store the ciphertext on decentralized storage. Therefore, the Arcana storage can serve as our storage layer.

“We are thrilled to partner with Arcana Network, a project helping this space easily build secure and privacy-preserving apps, to explore different technology pathways to build a strong system that safeguards user privacy and data ownership. This partnership is bound to be fruitful.”

— Mindaugas Savickas, General Manager of Ruby Protocol
